When a cheerleader raises one hand upward with a closed fist and then raises his other hands sideways it is known as the L motion.
Detailed answer
There are two types of L motions they are left L and right L
- To perform a right L first we have to place our right arm out to the side at shoulder level. The thumbs have to be kept in the forward direction. And the left arm should be kept near or closer to the ears this is how a right L motion is performed
- Now to perform a left L It is the direct opposite of the above steps just keep the left arm out to the sides and the right arm closer to your head near your ears to perform the left L
