it is desired to obtain An erect image of an object using concave mirror of focal length of 12 cm what should be the range of distance of an object placed in front of the mirror we will the image be smaller and larger than the object that ray diagram to show the formation of image in the case see where will the image of the object be if object is placed 24 cm in front of the mirror draw ray diagram for the situation also justify your answer

a mirror whose reflect image in smaller and larger than the object,then we can placed the object in twice as it focal length in the front of concave mirror.
so, be can say that it can be placed 2*12=24.Now, place a screen in front of the concave mirror in such way that it doesn't obstruct the path of light rays coming from the candle flam and falling on the screen. since the image of candle flame can be received in the screen, therefore the image is real. if we look at the image, will be observe that the image is upside down. so, the image is inverted. And if we compare the size of the flame in candle it's image, the image apper to be larger. Thus the image is larger than the object (enlarged or magnified)
