It is desired to obtain an erect image of an object using concave mirror of focal length 12 cm . 1 what sholud be the range of distance of an object placed in front of the mirror? 2 will the image be smaller or larger than the object . Draw a ray diagram to show formation of image in this case ? 3 where will the imgae of this object be . If it is placed 24 cm in front of the mirror

the range should be between 0 and -12 cm because we get a erect virtual image when the object is placed between F and O.
the image will be larger
if the object i placed 24 cm from the mirror the image will also be formed 24 cm from the mirror since the focal length is 12 cm therefore C = 24 cm
and objects placed at C are formed at C and are real and inverted
