Cricket ball has larger mass than tennis ball. For the same velocity, the change in momentum, which is measure of the force, is greater in case of the cricket ball than the tennis ball. As a result, more force is to be applied to catch the cricket ball. Hence, it is more difficult to catch a cricket ball than a tennis ball moving with the same velocity.
