It is difficult to open a tap with soapy hands. Why

Soaps are made up of Bases like Sodium/Potassium Stearate/Oleate/Palmeate. Since, bases are soapy and smooth, they reduce friction at a high extent which makes the friction negligible and hence the reaction force from the tap surface is less, which makes it hard to rotate it.

Soap is lubricant as it lowers friction .so as the frictional force between our soapy hands and tap is very low it slips ...
