It is difficult to open door when we apply force very close to the hinges because………..give reason​

Answer:To open & close the door we need to apply torque, and torque is the product of the distance from the axis of rotation i.e, hinge and the force applied. ... That is why we can't open or close the door by applying force at the hinges.
