Answer:- as you know that to write, the friction place very important role in it.
more and more fiction will help to write better and make it easier.

so the smooth surface will be harder enough.

now you might be thinking why the smooth surface and the rough surface are differ for it.

So, let me tell you that, the rough surface has much friction as compared to the smoother one.

so when you write because of the friction the ball of the pen, start moving and spread the ink on the surface of the paper.
so if there is smooth surface, then there will be less friction and you will not be able to write because the ball of the pen will not move.
