People can see through such hypocrisy sooner or later. Precepts fall on deaf ears where as examples compel attention. So a little example is worth a lot. Its worth, import and validity cannot be denied. It cannot be argued away or wiped out of existence. It is a living model for everyone to pattern his own conduct on. It speaks for itself and needs no help from words. So the person who examples is sure to be followed. ​
