It is easy to walk with flat shoes rather than shoes with sharp heels on soft sand

because surface area of flat shoes is more than that of sharp heels on soft sand since pressure is indirectly proportional to area then area is more of shoes then pressure applied is less
that's why it is easy to walk with flat shoes on soft sand in comparison to sharp heels
