It is given 5Ω,20Ω resistors and a 10 v battery
a) Draw the circuit diagram of series combination of these resistors to the battery?

b) What is the effective resistance of this circuit?

Equivalent resistance equal to 5 + 10 + 15 Ohm= 30 ohm I=V/R I=30/30 I=1A Current through 10 ohm resistor will remain same that is equal to the total current in the circuit because the resistor is connected in series Now potential difference in the 10 ohm resistor V=IR V=1*10 V=10V
