X²-7x-6 is the polynomial given but the correct one is
x²-7x+6
solution for the correct polynomial is
x²-6x-x+6. ( by splitting middle term)
X(x-6)-1(x-6).
(x-6)(x-1)
X=6 and 1
other zeros is 1

Here is your answer.
IF 1 is the one root of the equation
7x -  {x}^{2}  - 6 = 0
Here
a = -1
b = 7
c = -6
Let the other root is y

As we know that

Product of roots = c/a

1 \times y =  \frac{ - 6}{ - 1}  \\ y = 6
Therefore other root is 6
