it is given that A ABC = A FDE and AB
= 5 cm, angle B = 40° and angle A = 80°
find the value of angle E​

In △ABC

∠A = 80°

∠B = 40°

∠A+∠B+∠C = 180°

80+40+∠C = 180°

∠C = 60°

Now, △ABC ≅△FDE

Thus, by CPCT (Corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent),

∠A = ∠F = 80°

∠B = ∠D = 40°

∠C = ∠E = 60°

AB = FD = 5cm

BC = DE

AC = EF
