Given :  ΔABC∼ΔDFE, ∠A = 30°,∠C = 40°, AB = 5 cm, AC = 8 cm and DF = 7.5 cm

To find : DE & ∠F

Solution:

ΔABC∼ΔDFE

∠A=30°

∠C = 40°

=> ∠B = 110°   as  sum of all angles of triangle is 180°

ΔABC∼ΔDFE

=> ∠D = ∠A  = 30°

   ∠F  = ∠B = 110°

   ∠E  = ∠C =  40°

=>  AB/DF  = BC/ FE  = AC/DE

=> 5 / 7.5  = 8 / DE

=> DE = 12 cm

DE = 12 cm   &    ∠F  =   110°
