mean of 5 numbers =27
so, sum of 5 numbers =27x
5=135
let the excluding number be x
now,
sum of 4 numbers =135-x
mean=summer 4 numbers /4= (135-x)/4
27-2=(135-x)/4
25*4=135-x
100-135=x
x=35
Therefore, excluding number is 35
so, sum of 5 numbers =27x
5=135
let the excluding number be x
now,
sum of 4 numbers =135-x
mean=summer 4 numbers /4= (135-x)/4
27-2=(135-x)/4
25*4=135-x
100-135=x
x=35
Therefore, excluding number is 35
