Favor (Good) :

Culture is not law, change is law of nature so if you want to adopt some good things of western culture, it's acceptable.

Western culture have some good practices and it can help us to make our society better .

Adopting good practices of any culture can be fruitful.

Against (Bad) :

Adopting western culture is a bad adopt culture but don't forget your own culture.... People rarely care for the old one's there, albeit we do, but nowadays people are getting busy and they are adopting the means to keep old parents in Old Age Home, which is not our culture..

Conclusion :

Adopting western culture is not a problem but one should be careful whatever they are adopting is good or bad as per the social standard.

Just copying western culture won't work. We should find out the pitfalls and try to remove it like Dowery etc..

One person's freedom always matters. It's his own choice to adopt or not ...!
