• Some consider it one of the simplest ways to learn new things and they simply put enjoy that activity.

• Some consider it a game in and of itself, of seeking the most effective way of asking a given question to encourage others to volunteer useful answers.

• Others use it as a distraction to put opposition on the defensive by asking questions non-stop the opposition is kept to busy to think up dangerous questions.

Myself I look at it a bit like hunting, I am hunting answers, I use questions as bait. The better quality my questions, the better the quality of answers I will bring home for my learning.
