Waste management is an important activity, therefore, people should manage wastes in order to avoid and ensure that the following are met.


1. Waste management is important because improperly managed remains are likely to cause health and safety problems.


2. Solid wastes are likely to make the environment look ugly hence not appealing to the eyes.


3. Some wastes may be non-biodegradable hence they are likely to affect the lives of microorganisms living in the soil.
