Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

It is known that Brianna worked twice as long as Tyrese, and that Jamal worked four hours longer than Tyrese. And the three worked a total of 64 hours.

To find :-

How long did each work?

Solution :-

Let the wokring hours taken by Tyrese be X

The working hours taken by Jamal

= Working hours of Tyrese + 4 hours

= (X+4) hours

The working hours taken by Brianna

= Twice the working hours of Tyrese

= 2X hours

Total working hours takne by them

= [X + (X+4) + (2X) ] hours

=[ (X +X+2X)+4] hours

= (4X+4) hours

According to the given problem

Total working hours worked by them = 64 hours

=> 4X + 4 = 64

=> 4X = 64 - 4

=> 4X = 60

=> X = 60/4

=> X = 15 hours

So, X+4 = 15+4 = 19 hours

2X = 2×15 = 30 hours

Answer:-

Brianna worked 30 hours

Jamal worked 19 hours

Tyrese worked 15 hours

Check:-

Total working hours = 30+19+15 = 64 hours

Verified the given relation in the given problem.
