It depends upon situation dear......

If u have scope and determination.....u may definitely go with sir George Elliot's thought....

and the second might be for the one, u thinks....there is no path left for them...

There is no complication .. even both of them are relatable quotes. In exception cases , there is no concept of next time , this is because next time would be considered as late . ( according to Manish Bajpai )

But ,

It is never late to do anything , whatever you might have done before can be done at present too .. ( according to George Eliot )

Just perspective matters .. the way you relate and understand things !
