It is not easy as there are a lot of cases in which a consumer has to have a lawyer and he needs some proof also.

A example is when the shop keeper gives us a product in which the expiry date is not mentioned

This process is becoming cumbersome these days because many a time, consumers are needed to arrange lawyer . It takes a lot of time to file a case and attend court proceedings .in most purchases cash memos are not issued hence it is difficult to gather evidence.

Most purchases in market are small retail sales. The existing laws are not very clear on the issue of compensation to consumers injured by defective products.
