Trypsin is a protein digesting enzyme so if it is present in active form it will start digesting the body proteins as our body, glands, cells, everything is made of protein so they are present in inactive form. As soon as the chyme reaches the duodenum trypsin is activated by enterokinase.
On the other hand amylase has nothing to do with proteins so present in active form.
