like in f1 generation dominant is expressed and recessive is hidden while in f2 generation recessive one is expressd I.e. short

that inherited trait that is not expressed will be recessive trait and one of the example of that is when a tall plant is crossed with dwarf plant their offspring (F1)will be tall and when that offspring are selfied then in next generation(F2) it will show tall/dwarf traits. This concludes that the offspring in F1 the dwarf traits were not shown because of tallness traits.(that are dominant)
