it is safe to jump on sand rather than the cement floor why

Because cement floor will be hard surface if we jump on it it will give more or hard reaction that jumping on sand as on sand by our force we can go inside it as they àre soft surface

this phenomenon is because when we jump on sand it particle density is not so high and there interparticle force is not so strong and in case of cement it's interparticle force is strong and it's density is high because of this it is save to jump on sand rather than cement
