Actually in 261 BC he fought KALINGA WAR in which more than 1 lakh people destroyed, after then he became Buddhist and tried to solve as many problems of citizens as he can...........He also made his schedule which was very hard and in that schedule (Raja ka Aanushasan), point of "direct meeting to the people" was also inscribed....and he did that.......
