ashoka tried to convey his message through his inscriptions which are in prakrit and brahmi script

Ashoka spoke to his people directly through edicts. Ashoka's edicts were inscribed on stone pillars , rocks , pillars , boulders and caves. They are written in Brahmi , Kharoshti , Greek & Aramaic Scripts
