it is said that it takes thousands of years to form a thick layer of soil but everyday it will be thousand years then how can we say that soil erosion is harmful?

The soil which is blown away from a particular place will only replenish after millions of year so yes u r right but its incomplete fact. The soil takes millions of years to form its a very long time but the erosion is taking place at a hifher rate than its getting replenished.

Every beginning as its own ends, the presupposition is correct but u lag data. It will take 1000 years to form soil, but it is not assure that every day the process starts. Do u think today a new soil started to produce? Absolute no. So the process of formation of soil ended already and we are exploiting it now.
