I agree, that skipping meal or empty stomach cause acidity. in our stomach, the walls of stomach have gastric glands that relase gastric juice and mucus+Hcl acid.. empty stomach increase amount of Hcl and that cause pain in our stomach . that's why we take eno that is base.

Yes it is true. Skipping meals can cause acidity in stomach. The function of stomach is to digest food in the presence of gastric juice. When we skip meal and go without eating for a longer period of time, stomach starts experiencing stomach acid, gastritis and acid reflux.

The high acidic level in stomach can disturbs the stomach and can also starts effecting the stomach walls which results in ulcer.
