Both the man and Amoeba needs food to eat and then they release their energy in the form of ATP for their cell activity. They both are hetrotropes who consumes food from plants or animal (other living things or beings.)
In both the cases the food is broken into simpler substance through digestion.
But there are some difference between these two as man has mouth, stomach, digestive juice, pancreatic juice and many more organs and secreated hormones etc..but these are all absent in the single celled Amoeba.
