It is said that "virtual image cannot be caught on a screen." Yet, when we are seeing a virtual image, we

are obviously bringing it onto the screen i.e. the retina of our eyes. Is the said statement wrong?

Answer:

The statement is wrong because virtual image CAN be obtained on a screen unlike real image.

Explanation:

Virtual images are upright and erect which can be obtained on a screen. You can think of a theatre screen which also produces a virtual image.

Hope this helps...
