it is stated in NCERT that the" fibrous root orignate from the base of the stem replacing the primary root"" soo if it originate from base of stem then---why is it not called adventitous root???

--Because the main criteria for being a adventitious root is to originate from any other part except""RADICLE""??

primary roots are short lived. ..in fibrous root they replaces the primary root
