#If a plant is uprooted from the soil, then its leaves wilt due to unavailability of water. #Leaves require water and they get that from soil through roots. #But if the plant is uprooted and the roots no longer absorb water and nutrients and hence leaves do not obtain water. #This results in wilting of the leaves.
