Green leaves don't burn easily because water is present in them.It is the opposite in dry leaves.Dry leaves don't have any water in them.Hence dry leaves burn easily than green leaves.

bcoz when leaves are wet, the water in it absorbs the heat and protects the leaf from burning, but when the leaf is dry, the leaf itself absorbs the heat and starts to burn
