It is very easy to sleep at place for 8 hours, but it is very difficult to stand at a place for a long period of time. Why?
(Answer according to the chapter: force and its types from Science subject.)​

while standing we put all our weight on our leg which has less area which increases the preasure which leads to leg pain, as their are two forces acting on it gravity and action reaction we get tired soon.

wheras in the case of sleeping

we distribute the pressure all over our body and relax our muscles.in this case we even sleep on a matress which contains restoring force and absorbs some force exerted.
