Whenever we see a challenged man, we take pity on him whereas we should empathize with him. The feeling of pity may pinch the challenged person. He want a loving touch, a loving word to claim his unhappy heart. Finding no one, he feels helpless and perhaps curses himself. A physically challenged person thinks and feels like any other normal person but the tragedy is that no normal man wants to place him on the same pedestal with him. Difference and disparity prevails.

Is there any way to understand the feeling of a challenged man?

It is said that a person can understand the sorrows of a person only when he goes through the same emotions. When a person spend some time with a challenged person, he sees the hurdles that the challenged person faces everyday. This makes him realise that tough life that challenged person lives.

You cannot bring a socially neglected person at par with yourself if you're over him water in a disposal cup or tumbler. You will have to offer the water in a steel tumbler or a glass tumbler.

A challenged man has to face trials and tribulation, pangs and sorrows, deprivations and deficiencies, anxiety and anger, helplessness and humility. The story of his tortures is endless. Such lice can only be understood when we place ourselves in the place of a challenged person.
