Some Exceptions -
- Potassium and Lead are fine examples of non-lustrous metals.
- Mercury although a metal, is liquid at room temperature.
- Aluminum has a low melting point.
- Examples of lustrous non-metals would be Iodine and Carbon. It can be observed that Carbon is lustrous only in certain forms like diamond.
- Graphite is a non-metal that is both a good conductor of heat and electricity.
