Let,

one zero of given polynomial = m

then other zero will be = 1 / m

In a quadratic polynomial

\bf product \: of \: zeroes =  \frac{constant \: term}{coeefficient \: of \:  {x}^{2} }

In the given quadratic polynomial

constant term = 12

coeffiecient of x^2 = k

so,

\bf \: m \times  \frac{1}{m}  =  \frac{12}{k}  \\  \\  \bf \:  \cancel{m} \times  \frac{1}{ \cancel{m}}  =  \frac{12}{k}  \\  \\  \bf \: 1 =  \frac{12}{k}   \\  \\    \boxed{ \bf \: k = 12}

Therefore value of k is 12.
