Answer :-

It is given that,

Area of new park = Area of circular park of diameter 8 m + Area of circular park of diameter 6 m.

We know that,

Area of circle = πr²

Area of circular park of diameter 8 m :-

→ Radius = 8/2 = 4 m

→ Area = π × 4 × 4 = 16π

Area of circular park of diameter 8 m = 16π m²

Area of circular park of diameter 6 m :-

→ Radius = 6/2 = 3 m

→ Area = π × 3 × 3 = 9π

Area of circular park of diameter 6 m = 9π m²

Let the area of new circular park be πr² :-

→ Area of new circular park = 9π + 16π

→ πr² = 25π

→ r² = 25

→ r = 5

Radius of new circular park = 5 m
