Personally, I feel it is unnecessary. The Gurkhas alone work wonderfully to not only make Nepal visible on the global stage, but also to ensure that Nepal and the Nepalese are held in high regard. Once upon a time these inconsequential natives fought the unrivalled might of the British empire to a standstill. And today, the Royal Gurkha Rifles are the pride of the British army. Nepal really couldn't ask for any finer ambassadors than the Gurkhas.
