Razia Sultan was a great warrior, born in 1205 belonging to Turkish Seljuks ancestry. Sultan Iltutmish (her father) thought that she was more worthy of the throne than his sons. She was a brave an intelligent ruler and used to wear a man's tunic and headdress and lead her army into battle.She emerged victorious in most of her battles and is known particularly as the only Muslim ruler to ever rule India.
