Heya buddy!!

To answer only to the question asked,
The meaning of the statement ACCORDING TO THE AUTHOR is
We humans have feelings. So, when we try to kill fellow human, he will be hurt and experience a pain, anger and ultimately feel something and may fight back. So the author says that we can kill a fish becuz it doesnt have feelings like anger, pain, that fight back attitude.

This is the answer to ir question as asked.

But, i wanna further express my views abt it.

The author is absolutely wrong. The statement that fishes dont have emotions or feelings is inappropriate. It do have emotions. It is also a fellow living being just like us.. when u try to kill it, it for sure tries to escape and defends itself. It have feelings of love for its children. The only difference is that it cant express it.

But also, my description doesnt mean we shouldn't eat fish. We can eat them. This is the law of nature. A lion cant survive just by eating grass. If done so, the population of deer will dominate the world. A higher level liiving one must kill the lower level livung one. This is must and should process. So, human can can eat fishes, infact must eat fishes. But, the amount hebis eating them is important. If a kion eats 100 deer a day, it is again against the law of nature. So human can eat fish tobthe amount he must.

Hope this is helpful

If yes, pls mark me as brainliest☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

A fish can’t fight back as a human is stronger than a fish but that doesn’t mean a fish doesn’t have feelings i feel that the author is completely wrong about a fish not having feelings
