it's raining cats and dogs - The sky is pouring -you are alone at home -the family is away to attend a wedding -You are studying and light go off -darkness prevails -You feel scared. Suddenly you see a shadow against the window pane

It was a dark and cloudy night.I could hear cats and dogs barking .It was raining since the afternoon,the temperature had fell down several by degrees​ .I was feeling quite scared. The winds were asif they were roaring , all this had been giving quite a chill down my spine for I was alone in the house . My father and mother were out to attend a wedding. I was reading through my books,learning the lessons hoping to be distracted from the noise of winds and my scary thoughts. Suddenly, the lights went out it was utterly dark .I was really scared at that moment . I rushed out to find the torch to be able to see. I was shivering with fear my hands were trembling, however I was able to find the torch at last. But, when I turned it on , I was shocked. I could see something like a big shadow at my window. I turned white with fear , I was wondering what to do , What it could be .After a min I thought that I should remain silent. Each minute was like an hour after sometime I thought I should turn my torch again and see what the shadow was , But then I found that the shadow had disappeared from the window.I felt really very scared at this moment and my heart was like beating really fast .I in a gasp turned off my torch and his in my bed under my blanket waiting for my parents to come back. It took about an hour for them to come but I was not really sure as I couldn't see the clock. When my parents came I ran with all my strength .I told them about the happenings they said it might be a stray cat but I couldn't believe as it was too big for a cat. After that I never stayed alone at home,but still when I think of this event I feel a deep chill in my body.
