A two digit number is such that the product of its digit is 20. If 9 is added to the number, the digits interchange their places. Find the number.

then, the number will 10y+x

a/q xy=20....(1) ,and 10y+x+9=10x+y

or,9x-9y=9

or,9(x-y)=9

or,x-y=1....(2)

by solving equation 1and 2 we get,

x+y=9...(3)

by solving (2)and (3) we get,

2x=10or,x=5 when value of xvput in

eqn 3 ,we get y=4

hence the no.=10y+x=10*4+5=45.ans.
