For the first one

3 ohm and 6 ohm are connected in parallel so

1/Rp=1/R¹+1/R²

=1/3+1/6

=2+1/6

=3/6

Rp=6/3=2

Now Rs=2+2=4ohm

so 4 ohms is the answer

For the second one,all are connected in parallel

1/Rp=1/R¹+1/R²+1/R³

=1/20+1/10+1/5

=1+2+4/20

=7/20

Rp=20/7=2.85ohms

so 2.85 ohms is the answer
