HELLO DEAR,

ax/b - by/a = a+b ----------- (1)

ax - by = 2ab       -------------(2)

By dividing the second equation by 'a'

ax/b - by/a = a+b ----------- (1)

x - by/a = 2b       -------------(2)

Subtracting equation (2) from equation (1)

(ax/b - x) = (a - b)

Bx(a/b - 1) = (a - b)

x/b (a - b) = (a - b)

x/b = 1

X = b.

NOW PUT THE VALUE OF "X" IN EQUATION (2)
WE GET,

b -bY/a =2b

(ab -by)=2b

b(a-y) =2b

a-y=2

y=(a-2)

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
