T.S.A. of the given right circular cylinder is 1936 cm².

We know,

TSA of a right circular cylinder = 2πr(r+h)

where,

  • r = Radius of base,
  • h = Height.

Let us assume that π = 22/7

So,

 2πr(r + h)

 = 2 × \frac{22}{7} × 14(14 + 8) cm^2

 = 2 × 22 × 2 × 22 cm^2

 = (44)^2 cm^2

 = 1,936 cm^2
