Yes, I support Pranjol's father's statement. In the story of "Tea from Assam" by Arup Kumar Dutta, we come to know about 2 students of Delhi— Rajvir and Pranjol. As the hometown of Pranjol was in Assam , he invited Rajvir–who had never been to a tea estate– to come over his home town in the summer vacation. During their journey to his hometown, we come to know about a lot of information Rajvir had collected about tea.
Rajvir had never been to a tea estate. It was his first time when he went to Assam. But still he knew a lot of things about tea which even Pranjol didn't know. He narrated two legends about tea, told him some major fun facts about tea. He even surprised his father by sharing his knowledge about the sprouting season. That is why Pranjol's father appreciated Rajvir by saying 'he had done his homework' and I think he wasn't wrong in it as Rajvir had collected really a lot of information about tea.
