Answer:

sin(x+y) = sinxcosy + sinycosx

so sin²x +cos²x = 1

(3/5)²+ cos²x =1

cos²x = 1- (3/5)²

cosx = 4/5

similarly

siny = 12/13

putting these values we get

3/5×5/13 +4/5×12/13

3/13+48/65

63/65
