It so happened that when I was 12
years old I thought of traveling in a
train without a ticket, I thought in crowd
and commotion I would be able to
travel scot free; but I was wrong. As the
train was about to reach the station the
ticket inspector came into our coach to
inspect the tickets and catch the
passengers travelling without ticket,
Seeing him I panicked and hid in the
tollet. After a gap of 15 minutes I came
out. Unfortunate as I was, the ticket
inspector was still in the coach. He
come to me and asked me to show
ticket. I did not have any ticket, The
ticket inspector got angry; he called
the security man to take me to the
police station
A very kind man was watching the
scene from the beginning. He came to my help. He said to the inspector
Leave the boy will pay all the money
he owes you "He paid him 2500
which included fare as well as the fine
thanked the kind man and promised to
The gentleman said I could repay him
by helping anyone in need anytime
later in life I kept his words in my mind
and moved on.
