Plastics and synthetic fibres are obtained from inorganic (non-living)matter. They can't be recycled. But if they are burned, they release chemicals that are toxic in nature. This results in air pollution.

It is because when we burn plastics and synthetic fibres the dangerous toxins releases out of which is injurious to health and cause deadly diseases.So it is not advisable to burn them .
