Time period(T) is the time taken in one oscillation.
one oscillation in a pendulum means when Bob covers one round and returns again to the mean position.
so
T=time taken to cover 1 oscillation+1/2 oscillation
1/2 oscillation takes 0.5 second as 1 oscillation takes 1 second
so, T=1+0.5=1.5 seconds
